Redelineation exercise must be fair to all, says Sabah politician

A Sabah politician has reminded the Election Commission (EC) that any redelineation of electoral boundaries for Malaysia must not favour any political parties.Datuk Seri Wilfred M. Bumburing (pic) referred to the polls body's redelineation proposal for Sarawak, which sparked accusations of gerrymandering.He said similar exercise for the rest of country must adhere to the provisions in the Federal Constitution, especially in the drawing up of more seats."The electoral boundaries must not be engineered in way as to favour a particular party to win more seats than the other parties in any general election."It would seem very illogical in the eyes of the international community to see a minority group of community winning more seats than the majority, because, regardless of whatever political philosophy a particular party upholds, the voting pattern is still along racial lines," said the Angkatan Perubahan Sabah president in a statement today.While agreeing that the delineation of electoral boundaries was needed since the last one took place in 2003, Bumburing said the EC need to meet with all stakeholders to obtain feedback before presenting the proposed exercise to Parliament.Any redelineation has to be in accordance to the 13th Schedule of the Federal Constitution.The exercise to redraw electoral boundaries is supposed to be carried out once every eight years to cater to development and the increase in the number of voters.The boundary redelineation process was supposed to start late last year for the entire country but floods that ravaged the northeastern states of the peninsula disrupted the plan, forcing the EC to postpone it to this year at a date that has yet to be determined.Once the exercise starts, the EC will have to complete it within two years before the final report on the recommendations for redelineation is submitted to the prime minister, and then tabled in Parliament for approval and finally, presented to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for endorsement.Despite allegations of manipulation of electoral boundaries and unfair distribution of voters by the EC, electoral reform group Bersih 2.0 believed that redelineation was needed but had said it has to be conducted in a transparent manner according to the Federal Constitution.The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections said that if redelineation was not carried out, past irregularities or distortions would persist and might worsen over time, causing elected representatives serving growing number of electorates to be overburdened.Election analyst and Bersih member Dr Wong Chin Huat had said without redelineation, problems related to gerrymandering (manipulation of electoral boundaries) and malapportionment (unequally sized constituencies) would remain.Already, opposition politicians and civil society groups had cried foul over EC's proposal to redraw electoral boundaries in Sarawak and raise the number of seats by 11, claiming that the exercise had caused inequalities in the sizes of constituencies.Besides the new seats, the EC has also recommended a change of name for one parliamentary and four state constituencies.The proposal to increase seats is believed to be made now due to the impending state elections, which must be held by April next year.There is also speculation that a snap polls in the Borneo state could be held this year.Critics fear that the ruling Barisan Nasional government would use the exercise as a tool to redraw boundaries or increase the number of seats in its favour.However, the EC had said redelineation was needed to balance out parliamentary areas to ensure they did not burden the MPs.It had previously said it was looking at increasing federal seats by about 15% to 20% in its redelineation exercise, with new seats carved out in Selangor, Johor, Perak, Kelantan, Kedah and Terengganu.Malaysia practises a first-past-the-post system in elections where the winner takes all and forms the government of the day by having the most number of seats in Parliament, notwithstanding its share of the popular vote. – January 28, 2015.

ในกรณีของณิชากรนั้น ได้ทำการผ่าตัดขากรรไกร, ลดโหนกแก้ม, เสริมคางด้วยกระดูก ซึ่งเดิมเธอมีรอยยิ้มที่สดใสอยู่แล้วแต่หลังจากผ่าตัดออกมาแล้วยิ่งทำให้รอยยิ้มของเธอดูมีเสน่ห์มากยิ่งขึ้นไปอีก แต่ระหว่างการตรวจร่างกาย พบว่าณิชากรมีก้อนเนื้อเล็กๆ อยู่ที่หน้าอก ซึ่งมีความเป็นเสี่ยงที่ก้อนเนื้อนั้นจะกลายเป็นมะเร็งได้ในอนาคต ทางโรงพยาบาลจึงทำการดูดก้อนเนื้อตรงนี้ออกให้ก่อนที่จะทำหน้าอก

Without the right kind of protection and contingency, companies are vulnerable to DDoS attacks that could harm their business. – Reuters file pic, January 28, 2015.Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks cost companies thousands of dollars in losses, which also impacts the balance sheet and a company's reputation, an IT security firm said today.Kaspersky DDoS protection head Eugene Vigovsky said a DDoS attack on a company’s online resources could cause average losses of between US$52,000 (RM188,177) and US$444,000 (RM1.6 million)The amount of the losses depended on the size of the company but the expense incurred had a serious impact on the balance sheet and company's reputation.DDoS is a type of attack where multiple compromised systems, which are usually infected with a Trojan virus, are used to target a single website in order to "paralyse the website", especially those with high online activity, such as banking websites, sportsbetting websites and online shopping sites.In a statement, Vigovsky said a successful DDoS attack can damage critical business services, leading to serious consequences for the company."For example, the recent attacks on Scandinavian banks (in particular, on the Finnish OP Pohjola Group) caused a few days of disruption to online services and also interrupted the processing of bank card transactions, a frequent problem in cases like this."That is why companies today must consider DDoS protection as an integral part of their overall IT security policy."It is just as important as protecting against malware, targeted attacks, data leak and the like," Vigovsky said.He gave figures as examples, saying the total costs to the company reflected several problems.According to a study by Kaspersky Lab, 61% of DDoS victims lost temporary access to critical business information.Other figures included 38% of companies reporting they were unable to carry out their core business, while 33% of respondents reported the loss of business opportunities and contracts.In addition, in 29% of DDoS incidents a successful attack had a negative impact on the company’s credit rating while in 26% of cases it prompted an increase in insurance premiums."The experts included the costs of remediating the consequences of an incident when calculating the average sum."For example, 65% of companies consulted with IT security specialists, 49% of firms paid to modify their IT infrastructure, 46% of victims had to turn to their lawyers and 41% turned to risk managers."Vigovsky also pointed out that these were the most common expenses incurred.Furthermore, information about DDoS attacks and subsequent disruption to the business often becomes public.Recently, Malaysia Airlines was targeted by international hacker group Lizard Squad, which posted screengrabs of bookings made by various people, including that of a Cabinet minister.The screengrabs were posted after the national carrier denied that its website had been compromised.The group posted the photo of bookings made with MAS on the Lizard Squad Twitter account @LizardMafia which included a booking made by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed from Subang (Selangor) to Kota Baru (Kelantan).MAS had earlier issued a statement insisting its website was secure after a message posted by an entity claiming to be from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (Isis) militant group appeared on the flag carrier's website front page.Mocking the statement by the embattled national carrier, the group posted: "[MEDIA STATEMENT]: We would like to point out that @MAS is lying about user data not being compromised. Refer to earlier imgur link."@MAS Are you really that clueless? Wait until we package this nice present for you," it also said after posting a link to the photo with the bookings with "lolol" (which means laughing out loud).After news of the hacking broke, the group scoffed at MAS and posted on its account, "Write Lizard Squad on your forehead, thanks. @MAS"The Lizard Squad is a group of hackers that has caused havoc in the online world before, taking credit for attacks that took down the Sony PlayStation Network and Microsoft's Xbox Live network last month.MAS later said the incident was not hacking, rather, users were redirected to a hacker website when they keyed in www.malaysiaairlines.com, due to a compromise on its Domain Name System (DNS) which translates a domain name to the Internet Protocol (IP) address.Hundreds of Malaysia Airlines passengers complained it was difficult to access details of bookings due to the compromised DNS. – January 28, 2015.

Seorang pengawal keselamatan mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Majistret Kuala Lumpur hari ini atas pertuduhan mendera anak lelakinya minggu lepas.
    
Dzolkeflai H M Nor, 48, didakwa telah menggunakan kekerasan jenayah dengan mendera anak di bawah jagaannya yang berusia 13 tahun di rumah mereka di Cheras pada 2 pagi 23 Januari lepas.
    
Dia didakwa mengikut Seksyen 31(1)(a) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 dan boleh dihukum denda sehingga RM20,000 atau penjara sehingga 10 tahun atau kedua-duanya, jika sabit kesalahan.
    
Pegawai Pendakwa Zuraimi Kamarozzaman tidak menawarkan sebarang jaminan atas alasan mangsa adalah anak tertuduh sendiri.
    
"Namun jika mahkamah membenarkan tertuduh diikat jamin, saya memohon supaya dipertimbangkan juga syarat tambahan iaitu tertuduh tidak dibenarkan berhubung dengan mangsa dan diminta melapor diri di balai polis terdekat setiap minggu," katanya.
    
Majistret Zuraini Abdul Razak tidak membenarkan tertuduh diikat jamin dan tiada penjamin yang hadir ke mahkamah hari ini.
    
Bagaimanapun, Zuraini berkata jika Dzolkeflai mempunyai penjamin, dia boleh membuat rayuan bagi mendapatkan jaminan.

Ketika rayuan, Dzolkeflai yang tidak diwakili peguam memohon tarikh sebutan yang pendek atas alasan dia perlu menjalani pembedahan mata bulan depan.
    
Mahkamah menetapkan 11 Feb untuk sebutan kes bagi tertuduh melantik peguam.

Police seize copies of books by satire cartoonist Zunar at his office today. The artist was not there as he was in London. – The Malaysian Insider pic, January 28, 2015.Police today raided the office of satire cartoonist Zulkiflee Anwar Alhaque, or Zunar, and seized his copies of his books.The artist who is in London tweeted: "Police in my office, looking for me. But I currently in London. So they are taking all my books."It is still unclear if the raid and seizures are related to an ongoing police investigation against Zunar, who in 2010 was detained for two days under the Sedition Act. He currently faces possible charges under the same act.One of his earlier tweets dated January 26 said he was due to speak at Oxford University and Cambridge University.He also tweeted that he gave a talk "To fight through cartoons" in London,  an event organised by the Monsoons Book Club.Two policemen had come to Zunar's office, which shares the same premises as PKR's party organ, Suara Keadilan, at around 10.30am this morning.According to a staff member working at Suara Keadilan, those working in the office did not cooperate when asked to give statements by the officers.At 11.15am, four more police officers came and began asking questions and seizing the books, the worker told The Malaysian Insider which went to the office.Zunar tweeted again this afternoon that 149 books had been seized. They were both the English and Bahasa Malaysia versions of "Conspiracy to imprison Anwar" and "Pirates of the Carry BN".In a brief statement sent to the media, the cartoonist said the police officers had been led by one ASP Lim Ah Heng, from the legal division of the criminal investigation department at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters.He said the confiscation of his books were made under the Printing Presses Act, Sedition Act and Penal Code.Zunar added that he would be called to the police station upon his return to Malaysia.In another tweet, he criticised the police's actions, saying "Kalau kartun dirasa fitnah, silakan orang yg terasa itu kemuka saman sivil. กติกาการแข่งขัน

- ผู้เข้าแข่งขันจะอยู่ในกล่อง Singing Box ที่ลอยสูงจกพื้นที่เวที 3 เมตร แต่ละคนมีโอกาสร้องคนละ 1 เพลง (ความยาว 2.00 นาที) โดยมีข้อแม้ว่า ภายในเวลา 45 วินาที ผู้แข่งขันต้องได้รับ “คะแนนความรัก" จากผู้ชมและกรรมการใน Studio 100 คะแนนขึ้นไป จึงจะได้สิทธิ์ก้าวลงจาก Singing Box มาร้องเพลงบนเวทีจนครบ 2.00 นาที (โดย 10 วินาทีสุดท้ายก่อนหมดเวลา จะมีสัญญาณไฟไซเรนปรากฏขึ้น) แต่หากผ่านเวลา 45 วินาทีไปแล้ว ยังได้ “คะแนนความรัก" ไม่ถึง 100 คะแนน ผู้แข่งขันคนนั้น จะต้องหยุดร้องเพลง โดยไม่มีโอกาสเหยียบเวทีแห่งนี้เลย

- นักร้องที่มีคะแนนความรักมากที่สุด 2 อันดับแรก จะต้องไปลุ้น “คะแนนตัดสิน" พร้อมกันในช่วงสุดท้าย เพื่อชิงรางวัลเงินสด 30,000 บาท

 

เงินรางวัล สำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมรายการ 5 คน

"If we can find one or two more bodies, that means we have the opportunity to prolong the operation."The military withdrew from the search on Tuesday, apologising to the victims' families for not being able to do more after a month of work.A multinational search and recovery operation has found 70 bodies in the Java Sea and had hoped to find more after finding the fuselage of the plane. สิงห์สี่แควย้อนหลัง - ปิง วัง ยม น่าน ไปกบดานที่บ้านพักแห่งหนึ่ง เพื่อหาทางช่วยเพลิง แอนนามารี โทรมาเกลี้ยงกล่อม ให้ยม พาเพื่อน ๆ มามอบตัว แต่ยมไม่เห็นด้วย พิสดาร หาทางช่วยเหลือสี่หนุ่มอีกแรง แต่เป็นหนึ่งกับเนตรนภาไม่เห็นด้วย จึงถูกจับได้เสียก่อน ต้นคอยเฝ้าวาดรวีที่ยังไม่ฟื้น พอต้นรู้ว่าเพลิงถูกจับตัวไว้ ก็เริ่มเป็นห่วง จึงพาวาดรวีหนีไป เพราะกลัวมีอันตราย สี่หนุ่ม บุกองค์การ เพื่อช่วยเพลิง เจอเข้ากับเป็นหนึ่ง แอนนามารี สั่งให้เฉิน จัดการสี่หนุ่ม แอนนามารี สบตากับอรัญ ด้วยความคิดถึง ก่อนที่จะทำงานให้กับอีธานต่อไปอย่างลับ ๆ โดยมีไพลิน เป็นผู้ร่วมวางแผนด้วยอีกคน แอนนามารี แกล้งบอกที่อยู่ของเพลิงให้ยมรู้ แล้ววางแผน กับอรัญ อีธาน เพื่อฆ่าสี่หนุ่ม แต่พิสดารมาช่วยได้ก่อน ทำให้เฉินหัวเสียมากที่ไม่สามารถฆ่าสี่หนุ่มได้ แอนนามารี บอกกับเป็นหนึ่งว่าพิสดารลาออก แต่ตนเองขอทำงานกับเป็นหนึ่งต่อไป ปิง วัง ยม น่าน อยู่รู้เรื่องเบื้องหลังของไพลิน จึงเดินทางมาที่กาญจนบุรี พลอยขวัญ มีเรื่องกับคนของพ่อเลี้ยงสิน พอดีสายธาร ลูกของสินมาเจอจึงห้ามไว้ ปิงกับวังมาเห็นเหตุการณ์ จึงได้รู้ว่าพลอยขวัญกับสายธารเป็นใคร วาดรวีฟื้นขึ้นมาในที่สุด ต้นดีใจมาก

The front page of the Malaysia Airlines website as seen on a mobile device, as at 10am this morning. – January 26, 2015.Hackers allegedly linked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (Isis) militant group today broke into the website of Malaysia Airlines."Plane not found," said a message on the front page of the national airline's website at www.malaysiaairlines.com this morning, signed off as "Cyber Caliphate", as a rap song played in the background.The website title was also changed to "Isis will prevail".It is understood that only those using Telekom Malaysia's Unifi service are taken to the hacked page.Hackers claiming to be Isis supporters have in the past brought down Twitter and YouTube accounts.Some experts believe today's attack on the MAS website appears to be a DNS redirect rather than an all out hack.DNS, or domain name system, translates a domain name to the Internet Protocol (IP) address.MAS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.According to an AFP report, the hackers claimed to be from the "Lizard Squad", a group known for previous denial-of-service attacks.The Lizard Squad is a group of hackers that has caused havoc in the online world before, taking credit for attacks that took down the Sony PlayStation Network and Microsoft's Xbox Live network last month.The Islamic State, an extremist Sunni Muslim group, has seized large swathes of Syria and Iraq, where it has declared an Islamic "caliphate".It has drawn thousands of fighters from across the globe to its anti-Western cause, and shocked the world with its video-taped executions of journalists and other foreigners it has captured, the most recent being a Japanese security contractor it claimed Sunday to have beheaded.A second Japanese captive being held by the militants has also been threatened with execution.The Isis group, which uses social media in recruiting and spreading its message, is believed to harbour ambitions of launching a cyber-war against the West.It is unclear why MAS was targeted but the hacking group said on its Twitter feed that it was "Going to dump some loot found on malaysiaairlines.com servers soon."AFP added that MAS had released a statement confirming its Internet domain name had been compromised, re-directing users."At this stage, Malaysia Airlines' web servers are intact," it said, but added it could take nearly 24 hours to fully resolve the issue, which it had reported to Malaysian authorities."Malaysia Airlines assures customers and clients that its website was not hacked and this temporary glitch does not affect their bookings and that user data remains secured," it said.Concern has been rising in the country after scores of Malaysians were lured to the Isis cause in the Middle East.Malaysian authorities last week said they had detained 120 people suspected of having Isis sympathies or planning to travel to Syria. – January 26, 2015.

Umno PP: P'raya PBT bukti k'jaan negeri tamak kuasa

Umno Pulau Pinang menyifatkan tindakan kerajaan negeri yang mahu melaksanakan pilihan raya Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) di negeri itu sebagai sikap tamak kuasa.
    
Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Pulau Pinang Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman berkata cadangan kerajaan negeri pimpinan Ketua Menteri Lim Guan Eng yang mahu pilihan raya itu diadakan juga membuktikan mereka mahu memegang kuasa pentadbiran di peringkat ketiga.
    
"Hakikatnya pilihan raya PBT memang tidak sesuai diadakan kerana ia mampu menimbulkan pergolakan kuasa dalam pentadbiran dalaman. Apabila kita mendedahkan PBT kepada hal ehwal politik, kita juga sebenarnya menggadaikan masa depan pengurusan pentadbiran negeri.
    
"Selepas ini, beribu-ribu orang hanya pandai berpolitik tetapi tidak boleh buat kerja," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Majlis Keluargaku Ahli Umno dan Daftar Pemilih, di bangunan Tranformasi Umno Permatang Pauh, di Bukit Mertajam hari ini.
    
Turut hadir Setiausaha Umno negeri Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir dan Ketua Umno Bahagian Permatang Pauh Datuk Mohd Zaidi Mohd Said.

Isu pilihan raya PBT menjadi polemik hangat apabila DAP ingin melaksanakan cadangan itu di Pulau Pinang selepas ia dimansuhkan kerajaan pusat pada 1976.
    
Bagaimanapun, ia ditentang pelbagai pihak termasuk rakan sekutunya, PAS, yang mendakwa pelaksanaan pilihan raya PBT itu akan mencetuskan insiden rusuhan kaum seperti peristiwa 13 Mei 1969.
    
Sementara itu, Zainal Abidin berkata Umno Pulau Pinang berjaya mendaftarkan sebanyak 3,500 pemilih baharu dalam tempoh tiga bulan sejak Oktober tahun lepas menerusi Fasa 1 Program Daftar Pemilih Negeri.
   
Katanya jumlah memberangsangkan itu membuktikan Umno masih kekal relevan kepada masyarakat Melayu Pulau Pinang.

Bukan setiap merotan kesalahan jenayah

Peruntukan dicadangkan Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat (KPWKM) dalam Rang Undang-UndangKanak-Kanak baru bukanlah bermaksud setiap perbuatan merotan menjadi kesalahan jenayah. Sebaliknya, kementerian itu menjelaskan, apa yang dicadangkan dalam Rang Undang-undang itu ialah memasukkan peruntukan yang lebih terperinci mengenai tindakan yang boleh menyebabkan kecederaan fizikal atau mental kepada kanak-kanak, dan ini termasuklah perlakuan merotan. "Kementerian sedang meneliti dan memperhalusi cadangan untuk memasukkan peruntukan undang-undang yang lebih terperinci supaya apa-apa perbuatan kepada kanak-kanak sehingga menyebabkan kecederaan fizikal atau emosi kepada kanak-kanak merupakan suatu kesalahan jenayah yang boleh dikenakan hukuman penjara atau denda yang lebih tinggi. "Di samping itu, kementerian juga mempertimbangkan untuk mengadakan hukuman alternatif seperti khidmat masyarakat atau kaunseling atau kursus keibubapaan," demikian menurut kenyataan dikeluarkan Unit Komunikasi Korporat kementerian itu semalam. KPWKM menjelaskan bahawa tindakan memperhalusi undang-undang itu adalah selaras dengan cadangan terdahulu untuk memansuhkan Seksyen 91(1)(g) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 yang buat masa ini mahkamah dibenarkan untuk menjalankanhukuman sebatan ke atas kanak-kanak yang didapati bersalah. Beberapa media hari ini melaporkan kenyataan menteri KPWKM, Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim sebagai berkata, merotan anak bakal menjadi satu kesalahan jenayah sekiranya undang-undang baharu untuk menggantikan Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001mendapat kelulusan parlimen. Ekoran laporan itu, beberapa pihak tampil meminta penjelasan serta menyarankan agar kementerian mengkaji semula sekiranya cadangan itu benar-benar mahu dilaksanakan. Dalam pada itu, kementerian turut menjelaskan cadangan untuk memansuhkan hukuman sebatan di peringkat mahkamah adalah selari dengan prinsip Konvensyen Mengenai Hak Kanak-Kanak (CRC). "Pada masa ini Seksyen 91(1)(g) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 membenarkan seseorang kanak-kanak lelaki dikenakan hukuman sebatan tidak lebih daripada 10 kali sebatan apabila disabitkan dengan kesalahan melakukan jenayah. Dalam hal ini, hukuman sebatan di mahkamah adalah berbeza dengan hukuman merotan sama ada di sekolah atau rumah.  "Hukuman sebatan di mahkamah dilakukan secara teratur mengikut prosedur yang ditetapkan undang-undang. Bagaimanapun, atas alasan perkembangan psikologi danselaras dengan CRC, kementerian bercadang untuk memansuhkan hukuman tersebut," menurut kenyataan itu. - Bernama

So far a total of 1,097 bumiputera buyers have registered and it has exceeded 674 units available," Selangor State Development Corporation general manager Azlan Md Alifiah said in a statement today.Datumcorp International (DCI), which is developing the project, has pegged the price of a unit at around RM700,000.Some 100 residents protesting the development of the luxury project on Sunday turned aggressive and broke into the construction site to halt the project which they feared would turn the area into a "Chinese district".The residents began marching towards the site before proceeding to tear down the zinc barrier surrounding it, with several protesters trespassing on the site.However, police managed to bring the situation under control and the crowd soon dispersed. Two police trucks were seen at the site.The residents are opposing the Datum Jelatek project because they say it will transform the Malay-majority area into a "Chinese district", as they believe only the Chinese can afford to purchase units at the luxury condominium.Azlan said they would initiate legal action against those who had vandalised property on the project site and that DCI had lodged a police report.He also refuted claims that PKNS and DCI had never met with the residents on the implementation of the project, saying that both the state subsidiary and DCI had met with Taman Keramat residents on several occasions."We have organised meetings and dialogues with the residents and we even received positive feedback from all of them," he said.This morning, Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali questioned whether the rowdy protesters who broke into the Datum Jelatek condominium construction site yesterday were actual residents of the area."Who are they? Are you sure? Are you sure they are locals? Besides Salleh (Samad, chairman of the Datum Jelatek Action Committee), who else was there?" he asked reporters in Shah Alam.Azmin today said he was not averse towards meeting the residents, adding that he was willing to hear out their objections over the project.He said the state was duty-bound to ensure any project or development would not create racial tension.He also denied that there were racial elements in the project as said by participants of the protest."We allow residents or citizens to send their objections in any development and we will investigate."PKNS will produce a detailed report to prove the contrary, that an important development must not involve race," he said.Azmin said despite the existence of bumiputera quota, it must not be used as a sentiment that could hinder development in Selangor.He said there would be a town hall meeting between residents and state agencies to resolve the issue.Last November, Salleh and Keramat residents held a peaceful protest at the Selangor state secretariat building in Shah Alam, urging an end to the project.Salleh had reportedly warned of possible "bloodshed" if Selangor proceeded with the project, saying it was a threat to the Malays.The condominium is to be built on the former site of four blocks of PKNS flats owned mostly by Malays, which were demolished in late 2010. – January 26, 2015.

ตร.เมืองคอนบุกจับ แนน ท่าโพธิ์ มือยิงหนุ่มนักเรียนนอกตายในตลา สารภาพทุกข้อหา ประกาศลั่น “ผมนักเลงพอ"

(26 ม.ค.) ความคืบหน้าคดีคนร้ายก่อเหตุยิงหนุ่มนักเรียนนอกที่ตลาดสดคูขวาง อ.เมือง จ.นครศรีธรรมราช เมื่อวันที่ 12 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา ล่าสุด 1 ใน 4 ผู้ต้องหาตามหมายจับข้อหาร่วมกันฆ่าผู้อื่นเสียชีวิต ได้เข้ามอบตัวกับเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจแล้ว ให้การยอมรับทุกข้อกล่าวหา

นายเฉลิมพร แสงสง่า อายุ 25 ปี ผู้ต้องหาข้อหาร่วมกันฆ่าและพยายามฆ่าผู้อื่น หลังก่อเหตุยิง นายธีศิษฏ์ ถาวระ อายุ 27 ปี เสียชีวิต และ จ.ส.อ.ภาณุวัฒน์ คงมีศรี อายุ 27 ปี เพื่อนของนายธีศิษฎ์ บาดเจ็บสาหัส ทั้งนี้ นายเฉลิมพร หรือ แนน ท่าโพธิ์ ให้การรับสารภาพทุกข้อกล่าวหา

นายเฉลิมพร ยอมรับว่า คืนวันเกิดเหตุมีปัญหากับกลุ่มผู้เสียชีวิต แต่เห็นว่า นายธีศิษฏ์ เดินกลับไปหยิบอาวุธปืนจากในรถและพยายามจะยิงใส่กลุ่มของตน ต่างฝ่ายต่างมีอาวุธปืน ตนจึงยิงเพื่อป้องกันตัว ไม่เช่นนั้นอาจจะถูกอีกฝ่ายยิงก็เป็นได้

สำหรับผู้ถูกหมายจับในคดีนี้อีก 2 คน ได้แก่ นายกิตติ ปานเดโช อายุ 28 ปี ยังอยู่ระหว่างการหลบหนี ส่วน นายชัยวิชิต แสงสง่า อายุ 20 ปี น้องชายของนายเฉลิมพร เตรียมจะเข้ามอบในเร็ววันนี้ ขณะที่ นายสิทธิพร ขาวสุก หรือ โบตัส ได้เข้ามอบตัวแล้ว เมื่อวันที่ 19 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา โดยให้การภาคปฏิเสธว่าอยู่ในเหตุการณ์ แต่ไม่ได้เป็นผู้ก่อเหตุ
